Meet The Team

Toni Marceron

Toni has been dancing since she was two years old at Elower-Sicilia Productions, where she currently holds the role of Performing Company Director.  Inspired by her mother, grandmother and aunts who instilled the dancing bug in her at an early age, Toni continues to spread her love for dance to her students.  Although trained in all forms of dance, Toni developed a love for Tap and Jazz early on.  Keith Clifton, Tom Alexander, and Mark Goodman are at the top of Toni's list of influences and teachers she calls friends.  Toni has won multiple scholarships and award over the years, all of which comes second to her love for teaching others.

Erica Sedor

Erica is originally from Buffalo, New York, and started dancing when she was just three years old. She went on to study dance at the University at Buffalo, where she earned her BFA in Dance in 2020. While in college, she performed with the Zodiaque Dance Company and had the chance to work with choreographers from all over the world.

After college, Erica spent two years performing professionally with Regent Seven Seas Cruises, traveling to all seven continents while entertaining audiences from around the globe. She then took the stage in Christmas on Ice in Reno, Nevada, with Dublin Worldwide Productions for the 2024-25 holiday season.

As a teacher, Erica loves sharing her passion for dance and helping students grow, both as dancers and as people. Her classes are high-energy, supportive, and all about building confidence and having fun.

Ariel St.Clair

Ariel St. Clair began teaching at Supernova Dance Company in 2017 and has been on staff ever since. She received her Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance Performance at Oklahoma City University. Her professional performing credits include Disneyland Resort and Way off Broadway Dinner Theater. Ariel has been the resident choreographer at Calvert Hall College High School since 2020 and has choreographed shows including Newsies, Mary Poppins and Something Rotten. She has also choreographed shows at Mercy High School including Grease and Mamma Mia. When she is not teaching, she is running her own character performance company Royal Events and Entertainment, flying the skies with Southwest Airlines and spending time with her husband, Sean and their 3 children, SJ, Charlie and Grace. 

Mackenzie Simmons

Mackenzie is a dancer and choreographer currently based in New York City. In 2020 she graduated Summa Cum Laude’ from East Carolina University with a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography. Mackenzie has trained at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London under the direction of Hofesh Shechter and performed the works of Mary Grace McNally, Emily Greenwell and Alexa Luke. She has taught and judged conventions, competitions, and intensives across the East Coast. Mackenzie currently freelances in New York City and recently choreographed work for “Fuze” and Bridge for Dance’s “Uptown Rising” she has also performed in Sybarite, Arts On Site’s “Performance Party” and Brickhouse’s “Openhouse.”

Katie Harrison

Katie has been dancing since the age of four, training and competing throughout her childhood at Mid-Atlantic Center for the Performing Arts. Her dedication to dance was recognized when she was named a 2005 Maryland Distinguished Scholar for Dance. She went on to study dance and math education at Salisbury University, where she received the 2009 National Outstanding Dance Minor Award and earned multiple choreography awards. 

Katie has been teaching dance since 2010 and has had the opportunity to share her love of dance with students of all ages and abilities. In addition to teaching, she has contributed to the choreography of local ballet productions and served as a guest choreographer for colleges, private schools, and dance studios throughout the area. Over the years, she has had the privilege of watching many of her students continue their dance journeys through college programs and into professional careers. 

Katie joined Supernova in 2023 and especially enjoys teaching dance basics, jazz, musical theater, and lyrical. Her background in education shapes the way she approaches every class. She believes that great dance instruction is about more than learning steps—it is about building confidence, encouraging creativity, and helping each dancer discover the joy of dance. 

Outside of the studio, Katie is a mom of two girls and recently started homeschooling. She also teaches movement classes to preschoolers and yoga and fitness classes to adults. No matter the age or setting, Katie loves finding creative ways to combine education and movement and help others experience the joy and benefits of being active.
